Pensions and SERPs

The Pensions scandal has been well documented in the media, however the Financial Services put a cut off date by which firms were obliged to carry out a complete review of the mis-selling of Pensions.

This date has now passed and a lot of firms are now hiding behind this cut off date.

I am able to investigate your possible mis-selling of you pension and if need be obtain compensation if the pension has been mis-sold, where appropriate.

This includes State Earnings Related Pensions schemes (SERPs)

One of my clients has received £41000 from one company for the mis-selling of a Personal Pension

We will not try to sell you a new pension nor will we advise you on future investments. We will simple tell you if your pension has been mis-sold. We will then investigate and apply for compensation on your behalf.

If you were advised to opt out of SERPs without the risks being advised then you have probably been mis-sold.

We have recently won a major test case against the Prudential relating to the mis-selling of a SERPs rebate pension.
